    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing and using JobFlow AI ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

    These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JobFlow AI. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

    2. Age Requirement

    You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

    3. Description of Service

    JobFlow AI provides an AI-powered job application tracking service that helps you organize and manage your job search. Our service includes email integration, CV analysis, AI-powered insights, interview preparation tools, and various features to streamline your job hunting process.

    4. User Accounts

    4.1 Account Creation

    You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and all activities that occur under your account.

    4.2 Email Access

    When you grant us access to your email, you authorize us to read and process email data for the purpose of tracking job applications. We will only access job-related emails and handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You can revoke email access at any time through Settings.

    5. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to:

    • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
    • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
    • Interfere with or disrupt the proper functioning of the Service
    • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
    • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
    • Scrape, harvest, or collect user data without permission
    • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
    • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

    6. Intellectual Property

    The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by JobFlow AI and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

    You retain ownership of any content you upload (such as CVs and personal notes). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process and store this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

    7. Subscription Plans and Payments

    7.1 Free Plan

    The Free plan includes:

    • Unlimited job application tracking
    • Connect 1 email account
    • Basic AI email classification
    • Manual job entry and notes
    • Email sync every 6 hours

    7.2 Pro Monthly Plan (£9.99/month)

    The Pro Monthly plan includes all Free features plus:

    • Unlimited email connections
    • AI Interview Prep generation
    • CV Health Score and analysis
    • ATS simulation tool
    • Advanced analytics dashboard
    • AI follow-up email generator
    • Priority email sync (every 15 minutes)
    • Saved job searches and bookmarks
    • Weekly summary reports

    Billing: Pro Monthly subscriptions are billed automatically on a recurring monthly basis. You can cancel anytime, and access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

    7.3 Job Hunt Pass (£24.99 one-time)

    The Job Hunt Pass provides full Pro access for 90 days from purchase date:

    • All Pro Monthly features for 90 consecutive days
    • One-time payment, no recurring charges
    • Automatically downgrades to Free plan after 90 days
    • Cannot be paused, extended, or transferred
    • Non-refundable after 14-day cooling-off period

    7.4 Payment Processing

    All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full payment card details. Prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

    Recurring Payments: By subscribing to Pro Monthly, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically each billing period until you cancel.

    7.5 Changes to Plans and Pricing

    We reserve the right to modify subscription plans, features, and pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any price increases. Changes will not affect your current billing period.

    8. Refunds and Cancellation

    8.1 Pro Monthly Subscriptions

    You can cancel your Pro Monthly subscription at any time through:

    • Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription (Stripe billing portal)
    • Contacting us via the Contact page

    Upon cancellation, your Pro access will continue until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months. Future charges will cease immediately.

    8.2 Job Hunt Pass Refunds

    14-Day Cooling-Off Period: You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not used Pro features during this period. After 14 days, or after using Pro features, the Job Hunt Pass is non-refundable.

    8.3 How to Request a Refund

    To request a refund:

    • Contact us via the Contact page within the refund eligibility period
    • Provide your account email and purchase details
    • Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method

    8.4 Exceptions

    We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

    9. Data and Privacy

    Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

    10. AI-Generated Content

    Our Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze emails, extract job details, generate interview preparation content, calculate CV scores, and provide recommendations. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or misinterpretations.

    Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for verifying any AI-generated information before acting on it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI outputs for your specific situation. AI recommendations should be used as guidance only, not as professional career advice.

    11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

    11.1 Service Availability

    The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We may suspend or terminate the Service temporarily for maintenance, updates, or other reasons without prior notice.

    11.2 Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, JobFlow AI and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from:

    • Your use or inability to use the Service
    • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or personal information
    • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
    • Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the Service
    • Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in content
    • Any loss or damage of any kind arising from AI-generated content

    Our total liability to you for all claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

    11.3 No Employment Guarantee

    JobFlow AI is a productivity tool to help organize your job search. We do not guarantee, warrant, or represent that using our Service will result in job interviews, offers, or employment. Your success depends on many factors outside our control.

    12. Termination

    We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

    • Breach of these Terms
    • Fraudulent or illegal activity
    • Abuse of the Service or other users
    • Non-payment of fees (for paid plans)

    You may terminate your account at any time through Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease immediately, and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

    Termination does not relieve you of any payment obligations for services already rendered or fees already charged.

    13. Changes to Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, legal requirements, or business practices. We will notify you of any material changes by:

    • Posting the new Terms on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date
    • Sending an in-app notification or email (for significant changes)

    Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service and may cancel your account.

    14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

    Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

    Consumer Rights: If you are a consumer residing outside England and Wales, you may also have rights under the laws of your country of residence that cannot be waived by contract, and nothing in these Terms affects those statutory rights.

    15. Force Majeure

    We shall not be held liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these Terms where such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemics, network infrastructure failures, strikes, or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials. Our obligations will be suspended for the duration of such force majeure event.

    16. UK Consumer Rights

    If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have statutory rights under consumer protection legislation that are not affected by these Terms, including:

    • Right to Cancel: 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
    • Right to a Refund: If digital content is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose under the Consumer Rights Act 2015
    • Protection Against Unfair Terms: Terms that are unfair or create significant imbalance in rights and obligations may be unenforceable

    18. Severability

The invalidity of any provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
